Hi Readers!

Choosing my first blog post was very difficult for me. I wanted something that most of the audience likes. But, at the same time I wanted to write something beneficial. So, these Summer beauty tips (as it is hot here in Pakistan now a days) came to my mind. This is my first blog so I will be needing your support. J 
You are always welcome for the criticism. Let me know if you find it monotonous or clichéd.

 Summers in Islamabad are quite harsh. Scorching heat and humidity takes away the glow from your skin and dehydrates your body. You need to take special care of your skin to maintain the glow. Here are few easy things you need to keep in your mind:

  • 1.      Exfoliate


No matter how much lotion you use, you will be needing something magical for the glow of your skin. Exfoliate your skin with the scrubs. Use facial scrub for your face. This will help you get rid of dead cells and dry skin. After exfoliation, never forget to use moisturizer. Continue this at least twice a week.



  • 2.      Sunscreen is a must


Never! I repeat never step out of your house without applying sunscreen on your face, hands and feet. Always buy sunscreens that have UVA and UVB products for long lasting effect. Since, I have an oily skin so I usually use VLCC’s Sun Defense whose picture I’m posting here. You should always choose the sun screen according to your skin to avoid side reactions.


  • 3.      Be friends with water


Drink at least 10-12 glass of water daily. will give a glow to your face. Water not only helps you feel fresh, but it also prevents dehydration and will help wash out a lot of toxins. You can also drink homemade detox water. Carry a water bottle with you everywhere. It

  • 4.      Minimum makeup


In my opinion, you need to go for minimum makeup in summers. Avoid using thick foundations and use a very little eye makeup. Lip balm or lip gloss will give a fresh look to your lips.

  • 5.      Don’t forget your hands and feet


Girls usually pay attention to their faces thinking that hands and feet go unnoticed. However, this is not the case. You should be beautiful from head to toe. Summers are for wearing sandals and girls like to flaunt their feet. Don’t forget a manicure and pedicure twice a week. Scrub your feet before every bath and note the difference. 

  • 6.      Fruits


Don’t forget to take fruits. Melons and water melons are so refreshing and will help to hydrate your body. Banana and apple come throughout the year, try them. Mango will solve your low sugar problems. Go for strawberries as well.

  4. Thanks for sharing this is a great article. I like the note about sunscreen unfortunately I haven't found the sunscreen I can use, every sunscreen I've tried I have the same reaction to it feels like I'm putting fire on my skin

  5. These are indeed some great tips for skincare. I hardly use makeup or maybe it wouldn't be wrong saying just 2-4 times a month only. Water is also really important for healthy skin.
