Sun block- A must have thing for the protection of the skin

I live in Islamabad where summers and winters are both very harsh. No matter where you live in the world, you can cope with harsh weather conditions only if you are fully prepared and fully equipped. Excessive or long term exposure to sun rays can lead to damaging of skin particularly face and hands. It causes sunburn, wrinkles, skin degeneration and in extreme cases, it can be source of skin cancer. It is very important that whenever you step out in the sun, you should do something for the protection of your skin. Natural shade, hats and sunglasses are the best preventative measures form sun but having said that, you must own a bottle of sun block.
You should apply a good sun block on your face, hands, and exposed arms and also on your feet to minimize sun damage.  There are many different types of sunblock available that are designated by the sun protection factor (SPF), ingredients that are resistant to water and whether they block UVA or UVB rays. Choosing the correct type of sunblock for your use and type of skin is important for maintaining healthy skin.

I use ‘Hollywood Style Sun Block SPF-45 150 ml’. This product comes in 150 ml tube. It comes in affordable price and is available in local stores in the market. It is manufactured by V.S Lab in USA. It is an herbal product so expect no side effects at all. It contains water, mineral oil, stearic acid, glycerin, glyceryl stearate, aloe barbadenisi leaf juice, ethyl ester of hydrolyzed silk, hydroxypropyl cellulose, PEG-7 glyceryl cocoate, polysorbate 60, triethanolamine, fragrance, methylparaben and propylparabe.

It is an oil free herbal formula. Cream is of white color. The quantity is good enough. It lasts longer.  It is very easy to apply. Texture of the cream is thick. Before going out, you just need to apply a small quantity on your face or other exposed body parts. Give a gentle massage with the tip of your fingers in all directions so that it completely settles down on your skin. It will give you a fair look after applying but if you don’t give a proper message it will make you look like a ghost. Remember, it will not cover your prominent marks, it will only do a job of a sunscreen.

This product really does its job well without any side effects. It provides protection against UVA rays of the sun. Both young and aged people can apply this sunblock without the fear of damaging side effects. This unique and herbal treatment allows skin to breathe naturally and helps exposure to sun for maximum protection. This product contains powerful antioxidants and natural ingredients that help to provide complete skin protection and also fight against premature aging of the skin.

Whenever you are going to the office, school, going for a site visit, in the playground, swimming, hiking or you are going for any other sports, you must apply sunblock before stepping out of your home. This product is highly recommended!

  65. I'm really bad and only use sunscreen when it's sunny outside. I know that we are supposed to wear sunscreen all year round though. My skin is really sensitive and I am allergic to all fragrances, so the only sunscreen I've found that works for me is the Clinique one. But when I use it, it seems quite heavy on my skin and I swear it breaks me out if I use it continuously for a few days, even though I double-cleanse and make sure I wash it all off at the end of the day! Ahhhhhhh, maybe I will have to find a BB cream that is fragrance-free and contains SPF.

  71. The thing about sunblocks is how they often give the skin a very thick-coat feeling. It feels like there's something covering the face and under the hot sun, we might start sweating milky water. Does this do the same?
